Job Description

The duties of the Advanced Manufacturing Instructor will include the essential duties and responsibilities


outlined on the Rogers Public Schools Teacher Position Description. In addition, the instructor will be responsible


for implementing the curriculum, including state, national and industry frameworks. The instructor will provide


opportunities for students to obtain industry certification in areas that align with the Advanced Manufacturing


program of study and career opportunities with the related industries. The instructor will also be responsible for


the implementation and maintenance of safety protocols to maintain a safe and orderly environment within the


classroom and shop areas. The safety plan and protocol must demonstrate compliance to district, state,


and federal guidelines, including the Lab Safety Checklist outlined in the CTE Operational Guide. The instructor will


insure affiliation with the required Career & Technical Student Organization and sponsoring or securing sponsorship


of the student organization.

    • Meet state licensing requirements of Arkansas Dept. of Education and Arkansas Dept. of Career Education:


      Technical Permit #585 Industrial Equipment Maintenance


      Technical Permit #587 Machine Tool is preferred, but not required


      Professional development required to meet educator licensure and technical permits issued by the Arkansas Department of Education and Arkansas Department of Career Education.
