The primary function of the Assistant Superintendent is to provide leadership and vision in the ongoing planning, implementation, development, direction, review and evaluation of the district's curriculum and instructional services, career and technical education services, and ensure Student Success Plans are implemented in the district. He/she will ensure that the district/school education objectives are aligned to state frameworks and to instructional practices that yield the highest standards of student achievement and instructional excellence. He/she will be responsible for the professional development of staff members so they can perform their jobs successfully.

• Arkansas District-level administrative certification with required Superintendent endorsement • Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience (preferred) • Master’s or Specialist Degree in Education Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction Certification (preferred)
At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
Advanced Studies degree preferred
Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
