REPORTS TO: Building Principal/Extended Day Supervisor
JOB GOAL: To assist in conducting the daily academic/enrichment program and recreation activities. Responsible for the direct supervision of program participants.
Assist in homework/tutoring time.
Assist in implementing the daily activity program/curriculum.
Assist with snack time, maintenance of the physical facility (i.e. restrooms, grounds, equipment and supplies), discipline, necessary records/reports, and promotions/public relations.
Maintain a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.
Maintain attendance records and submit reports on attendance to the building principal.
Attend all in-service/training sessions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary Range: $10.40 per hour
Length: Temporary position in the after-school program; Monday – Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Performance of this job will be evaluated according to provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Staff personnel.
