The Watson Chapel School District Board of Education is seeking a leader:
•That has a solid understanding of the Arkansas Public School Funding Formula, understands school finance with budgeting experience, and success in proven financial management.
•That is a person of integrity, a good communicator, maintains a high level of visibility in the schools/community, diligent in establishing trusting relationships, and has an understanding of rural schools/the Delta culture.
•That is a visionary, capable of setting realistic educational goals, and influences staff and students to higher levels of performance.
•That has the skills necessary to establish evaluation procedures for all employees, maintain District wide consistency in evaluation practices, and create the expectation/understanding that all employees will be accountable for their performance.
•That understands teaching/learning, capable of recognizing best educational practices, and can influence/motivate all staff to become partners in improving student achievement.
