Job Description

Position: Custodian

Primary function: To perform general cleaning functions of the school facility to which assigned.

Major responsibilities:

Perform custodial duties as assigned by the building principal and/or the Maintenance Director.
Perform preventive maintenance functions.
Perform routine inspection of the school with the Maintenance Director.
Follow established district guidelines regarding the request of custodial supplies.
Report to and perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance/transportation director, principal or superintendent of schools.
Provide a safe, orderly and clean environment for students and faculty at all times.
